CET
plays a key role in the restructuring of industry in the Region, introducing
modern management processes, and helping to transform the marketing, sales
and distribution functions.
CET has implemented restructuring in most major sectors, including heavy and light industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, consumer goods, banking, insurance and retail distribution.
One of CET's most lasting contributions to the reform of the Region's industries has been its work on privatisations. Governments now recognise that a successful sale of state enterprises often requires management consultancy and financial transaction skills in equal measure.
Consequently CET has completed numerous pre-privatisation and privatisation assignments, sometimes working on whole sectors - as in the case of the electricity distribution industry in Poland.
